Composition of Metrogil Dent is represented by the tandem of metronidazole (Metronidazole) and chlorhexidine (Chlorhexidine). Due to the combination of antibiotic and antiseptic, there is a mutual increase in antimicrobial and antiseptic actions. Levomenthol, an auxiliary substance that is part of the drug, has a mild, cooling and soothing effect.
